Swim Club Management Group believes in providing children with a positive environment in which they can feel comfortable and learn basic water safety. We feel that through patience, encouragement, and frequent repetition of skills, your child will have a fun, safe and rewarding swimming experience.
SCMG offers the following types of classes for beginners to more advanced swimmers:
- Tadpole: Typically this class is for children between the ages of 3 and 6. The class emphasizes water orientation, basic water safety, and developing a comfort level with the water.
- Minnows: Students for this class should be comfortable in the water. Basic skills for front crawl and backstroke are taught.
- Dolphins: Students should be able to swim the length of the pool in both front crawl and backstroke. Students will be taught the basic skills for front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
- Stroke Clinic: Swimmers must be able to swim both front crawl and backstroke. This course is designed to assist swimmers with the refinement of all four competitive strokes, turns and starts.
Classes typically begin the week after Public School ends and run through early August. Check with your Swim Club Manager for specific class times. Feel free to email our office with specific questions.
